The North American Championships have just been completed. Jimmy has managed to bring home two medals from the Championships: a gold medal in the U-18 teams and a bronze medal in the U-18 singles. The win over the American team is particularly important because Team Canada has now secured its spot at the World Junior Championships to be held in December 2011 in Bahrain

In the U-18 singles even, Jimmy had a very significant win to get to the semi finals. He has defeated Peter Li, the US #1 junior player in very well contested match.

Congratulations to Jimmy for winning two gold medals at the Canada Winter Games in Halifax. Jimmy helped Team Ontario to capture the gold medal in the Team events. Jimmy and his fellow team mates Scott Lu and Zexuan Wang defeated Team BC for the gold. Jimmy paired un with Hollie Lau of Toronto to capture the gold medal in the Mixed Doubles event.
